David bought a ticket at the station and found his seat on the train. He was excited — this was his first trip to Edinburgh.
The journey took three hours. David looked out of the window and watched the countryside. He also listened to music and read a little. The time passed quickly.
When he arrived, he did not know how to get to the city centre. He asked a woman at the platform: "Excuse me, is there a bus from here?" She smiled and said, "Yes, but it will take forty minutes. I'll take the tram — it's faster."
David thought for a second. "OK, I'll take the tram too," he said. It was a good decision. The tram was fast and he could see the castle from the window.
At his stop, he got off and looked around. Edinburgh was beautiful. He will definitely come back.
