Four students have been sharing a flat in Bristol for three months. Things have not always been easy. They all have very different habits.
Kai never tidies up after cooking. He leaves dishes in the sink and forgets to put away his things. His flatmates have asked him to change — but nothing has happened yet.
Priya wakes up at five in the morning to study. She has tried to be quiet, but everyone hears her alarm. She has already apologised twice.
Sam and Jo, on the other hand, get along very well. They have set up a cleaning rota and they stick to it. They have also started cooking dinner together on Thursdays.
Last week, they all sat down and sorted out the flat rules. Kai promised to wash up straight away. Priya agreed to use headphones. It is not perfect, but they are all learning to compromise. Living together is hard — but also good training for real life.
