Artículos y determinantes avanzados
"Both teams played well." / "Neither solution works." / "The rich get richer." / "Life is short." — Los artículos y determinantes en inglés tienen reglas avanzadas que distinguen al hablante B2 del B1.
Al terminar esta lección podrás:
- Usar "both", "either", "neither" correctamente
- Usar "the + adjetivo" como sustantivo colectivo: "the poor"
- Dominar el artículo cero: conceptos abstractos, idiomas, instituciones
- Distinguir "a/an" vs. "the" en contextos avanzados
En inglés, los conceptos abstractos (love, freedom), idiomas (English, Spanish), materias académicas (mathematics), comidas en general (breakfast), modos de transporte con "by" (by car) y ciertos lugares con función (go to school, go to prison) no llevan artículo. Este es uno de los errores más frecuentes de los hispanohablantes.
